Our massage table is rated to carry 450lbs. We are a size friendly practice and warmly welcome everybody celebrating that every body is unique and individual.
There is ramped access into the treatment room and all other surfaces are level. We have an electric bed which can be lowered down and then moved to an appropriate position and height.
On arrival to Epona Massage Therapy you will be greeted by your therapist and taken to the treatment room. A consultation will be completed to discuss any particular areas of concern throughout the treatment. Following this the therapist will allow you privacy to remove your clothing and make yourself comfortable on the massage table. If you are having a full treatment the treatment starts with you on your front to allow the therapist to treat your back.
All you need to do from this point is to relax and enjoy your treatment. Post treatment your therapist will help you up and pass you a glass of water. You will then be given privacy to redress.
It is important you feel comfortable and relaxed. We recommend loose fit clothing and underwear which will cover you well. A brief type underwear is recommended to ensure adequate personal coverage.
For an individual treatment the clothing in that specific area can be removed and for a full treatment clothing can be removed down to underwear with ladies either removing their bra or the therapist undoing the underband once the lady is on the massage table and re-securing it after the back has been treated.
